Analogix Announces Release Of High Performance DisplayPort™ Dual TTL Translator Chip
Analogix Semiconductor, Inc. a world leader in high performance digital media interface solutions, today showcased a high-performance DisplayPort-to-TTL translator chip, the ANX9824, at the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) PlugTest event in Japan. The new device combines an integrated DisplayPort 1.1a receiver with an on-chip MCU to provide high-performance, low power DisplayPort support for connecting video source to video display and audio.

Analogix Unveils Industry’s Lowest Power HDMI Transmitter Technology, Targets Consumer Electronics Devices with New Zero Power Capabilities
Analogix Semiconductor, Inc. a world leader in high performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductors and IP solutions, unveiled details of the industry’s lowest power HDMI transmitter. The CoolHD™ technology consumes less than 50mw while supporting resolutions up to 720p and 1080i, and utilizes zero power at 480p resolution. Once released, the new CoolHD power-optimized HDMI transmitter technology will be offered in sub 0.18um CMOS process.

Court Denies Silicon Image’s Request to Preliminarily Enjoin Sales of Analogix Semiconductor’s HDMI Chips
Analogix Semiconductor, Inc., announced today that the U.S. District Court recently denied Silicon Image, Inc.’s request for a preliminary injunction. Silicon Image had previously asked the Court to order Analogix to stop selling certain of its HDMI chips, claiming that Analogix had misappropriated Silicon Image’s alleged trade secrets. The Court denied Silicon Image’s request, stating that “the evidence gives rise to serious questions on the merits as to this claim.”

Analogix Showcases Industry's First Direct Drive DisplayPort™ TCON Solution at CES 2008
The ANX9840 DisplayPort receiver offers robust support for the next-generation display interconnect standard for monitors, notebooks, and consumer electronics. The ANX9840 features an integrated LCD timing controller (TCON) that supports the VESA® DisplayPort Specification v1.1a and adopts the standard FPD monitor interconnect to replace VGA, DVI and LVDS in high resolution, high-refresh rate panel applications.

Analogix Showcases Latest DisplayPort™ Solutions at CES 2008
The company will show the latest versions of its DisplayPort transmitter and receiver chips that are fully compliant with the DisplayPort Version 1.1a specification. Several of the products offer dual standard support, including HDMI 1.3 and DVI technology.

Analogix Denies All Charges in Lawsuit Filed by
Silicon Image
Last week, Silicon Image, Inc. filed a lawsuit against Analogix Semiconductor, Inc. in federal court in California. Analogix denies all allegations of wrongdoing. Analogix has great respect for the intellectual property rights of others and has always taken appropriate steps to prevent any misappropriation. Analogix has been successfully delivering its transmitter and receiver architectures since 2003 and is a licensed adopter in good standing of HDMI Licensing LLC. Analogix thus has all the necessary intellectual property rights to manufacture and sell its products, including the products that are named in the suit.
