Analogix Becomes First Discrete Chip Supplier to Receive VESA® DisplayPort Certified Logo for Transmitter Products Analogix ANX9805 DP-Transmitter passes all PHY and LINK testing requirements at Allion Test Center SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 9, 2008 – Analogix Semiconductor, Inc. a world leader in high performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductors and IP solutions, today became the first discrete chip supplier to receive the DisplayPort certified logo from VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) for a commercially-available transmitter product. The Analogix ANX9805 DisplayPort Transmitter device passed an extensive qualification test by VESA-authorized independent testing lab Allion and becomes the first standalone product of its type to be able to feature the DisplayPort logo. The Analogix ANX9805 DisplayPort transmitter is fully compliant with the DisplayPort 1.1a specification. It also includes HDCP encryption, and is compliant to the HDCP 1.3 specification and the NVIDIA Upstream Protocol. The ANX9805 provides all the signal requirements for the DisplayPort source device receptacle. It can be used for video output applications in a PC or PC graphics card, or in embedded applications such as inside a notebook PC or DTV to drive the internal flat panel display interface.
