Analogix Wins Two EDN China Innovation Awards of the Year

Analogix was presented with two prestigious EDN China Innovation Awards, the company received “China Local Innovative Company Award”, and its ANX 9805 DP Transmitter received “Consumer Electronics IC Leading Product Award”

Shenzhen, China, Nov 6, 2008–Analogix Semiconductor, Inc., a manufacturer and innovator of high-performance analog and mixed signal devices for the digital media and communications markets, today attended the EDN China Innovation Awards Ceremony in Shenzhen and was presented with two prestigious EDN China Innovation Awards, recognizing its contribution to the industry. The company received “China Local Innovative Company Award”, and its ANX 9805 DP Transmitter received “Consumer Electronics IC Leading Product Award”.

EDN China Innovation Awards was first launched four years ago. Every year this Award strives to recognize the brightest technologies and companies in China market. The voting process begins with nominations from the industry. Next, working in panels organized by area of expertise, EDN China’s technical editors select the most deserving nominees as finalists. Last, the ultimate winners were voted by audience of engineers and engineering managers using an online ballot.

Analogix, known for its innovation ability and constant focus on local market, was presented with EDN China “China Local Innovative Company Award”. In 2008, Analogix has released several DisplayPort Transmitter/Receiver Products, and its ANX9805 Transmitter and ANX9850/55 Receiver were all certified by VESA, which further proved Analogix’ leadership in high speed interface product industry. The “Consumer Electronics IC Leading Product Award” product ANX9805 is fully compliant with the DisplayPort 1.1a specification. It also includes HDCP encryption, compliant to the HDCP 1.3 specification, and the NVIDIA Upstream Protocol. The ANX9805 provides all the signal requirements for the DisplayPort Source device receptacle. It can be used for video output applications in a PC or PC graphics card, or in embedded applications such as inside a notebook PC or DTV to drive the internal flat panel display interface.
