Introduction

The ANX9830 is an ultra-low power DisplayPort(DP) to HDMI format translator that supports DisplayPort 1.1a specification. The ANX9830 supports DisplayPort input and HDMI output, providing a cost-effective method of sending digital display content to end users. Data is transported at Reduced Bit Rate (RBR) or High Bit Rate(HBR) over 2-lane DisplayPort main link. The ANX9830 supports the DisplayPort 1.1a and HDMI 1.3a specifications and provides a simple, low cost method of sending protected audio and video to end users through digital interfaces. The architecture incorporates DisplayPort receiver interface, DisplayPort transmitter interface HDMI transmitter interface, SPDIF, and I2S audio outputs.
