Google's new Nexus 4 is packing quite a few bells and whistles, but this one just might take the cake. Analogix has just announced SlimPort accessories for the phone, which takes advantage of an output functionality that you won't find on too many rival phones. Analogix will be releasing a total of four supporting SlimPort cables and adapters with connectivity through all display standards - HDMI, VGA, DVI and DisplayPort. The first in the series, model SP1002, is immediately available in both the US and Europe on Amazon for $29.9; soon, it'll be available elsewhere.

The tech is based on DisplayPort, and it plugs into the micro-USB connector that's already on the bottom of the phone. Not that you'll frequently want to use HDMI out on your phone, but at least you know now that this one has the option.
