USB Type-C™ Crosspoint Switch with On-chip Microcontroller
Overview:
ANX7447 is an intelligent crosspoint switch that supports switching at data rates of up to 10Gbps. ANX7447 supports high- speed interfaces, such as USB 3.1 (Gen 1 — 5Gbps, Gen 2 — 10Gbps) and DisplayPort’” (DP) 1.4 at up to HBR3 (8.1Gbps). ANX7447 is designed as a companion IC to various CPUs and Application Processors (APs) to enable notebooks, desktops, and 2-in-1 PCs to use the reversible USB Type-C (USB-C") connectors. An On-chip Microcontroller (OCM) is available to manage the signal switching, Channel Configuration (CC) detection, USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) charging and Vendor Defined Message (VDM) protocol, and other functions, as defined in the USB Type-C v1.2 and USB Power Delivery v3.0 specifications. ANX7447 can be configured for a Downstream Facing Port (DFP) or Dual-Role Port (DRP) to support a USB-C receptacle. In the DFP configuration, ANX7447 supports the DisplayPort Alternate Mode as defined by VESA* to carry high- definition audio and video (A/V) contents at 1, 2, or 4-lanes DP over the USB-C connector.

ANX7490 is a USB 3.1 1-port re-timer capable of conditioning USB signals at both Gen 1 (5Gbps) and Gen 2 (10Gbps) speeds. ANX7490 can compensate signal loss of up to -23dB and is compliant to the latest USB 3.1 specifications. ANX7490 is protocol aware for better link power management and power savings. Overview:
ANX7625 is a mobile HD transmitter designed for portable devices such as smartphones, tablets, Ultrabooks, docking stations, sports cameras, camcorders, and so on. It enables a mobile device to transfer audio, video, and data simultaneously. The ANX7625 converts MIPI™ to DisplayPort™ 1.3 high-performance video with the resolution up to 4K UHD. The built-in intelligent crosspoint switch provides support for USB Type-C, USB 3.1 data transfer, and the DisplayPort Alternate Mode signaling over USB Type-C. Additionally, its on-chip microcontroller (OCM) provides the capabilities to manage signal switching, Channel Configuration (CC) detection, USB Power Delivery (USB-PD), Vendor Defined Message (VDM) protocol, and other functions defined in the USB Type-C and USB Power Delivery specifications. Overview:
ANX7402 is a USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) PHY with an On-chip Microcontroller (OCM). The OCM enables ANX7402 to manage the cable detection, USB Power Delivery negotiations, Vendor Defined Message (VDM) communication protocol, and other functions, as defined in the USB Type-C™ v1.1 and USB Power Delivery v2.0 specifications. ANX7402 supports a Hot Plug Detect (HPD) input pin and converts the HPD signal over the Configuration Channel (CC) to enable DisplayPort™ (DP) Alt Mode applications.
